Reiki First Degree “SHODEN” (for Beginners)

Entry requirements:

No previous experience needed.

Dates:

  • Saturday, 11th June 2022

Course time:

09:30 – 17:30

Reiki Level One course fees:

£140.00 per person – This includes all course materials and hot/cold refreshments and light snacks (please bring your own packed lunch).

Prior to attending the Reiki training day:

You will be sent a professionally printed Study Pack, containing a 170-page ‘Shoden’ manual, and two specially produced audio CDS, one containing 70 minutes of commentary and the other containing guided meditations that you will be introduced to on your course and which you will use subsequently. Alternatively, MP3s can be sent.

Your pre-course reading and listening will focus you on these areas:

  • What Reiki is and where it comes from (the History, Background and Development)
  • What Reiki’s founder taught and how we can follow the original system in the modern world
  • The Reiki ‘precepts’, mindfulness, and the use of empowerments
  • How to benefit from daily energy exercises and self-treatments
  • How to use Reiki on other people

Taken with the 6 ½ hours of live training on the day of your First-Degree course, you will have followed a course of training lasting for at least 15 ½ hours.

Assessment criteria:

You will receive your Reiki First Degree certificate at the end of the course

 

Reiki Second Degree – OKUDEN (Become a Practitioner)

Entry requirements:

Reiki Level One – SHODEN.

Date:

Course time:

09:30 – 17:30

Reiki Level Two course fees:

£170.00 per person – This includes all course materials and hot/cold refreshments and light snacks (please bring your own packed lunch).

Bedfordshire

Prior to attending the Reiki training day:

You will be sent a professionally printed Study Pack, containing a 110-page ‘Okuden’ manual, and specially produced audio CDS, one containing 70 minutes of commentary, Okuden, and guided meditations that you will be introduced to on your course and which you will use subsequently. Alternatively, MP3s can be sent.

Your pre-course reading and listening will focus you on these areas:

  • What Reiki is and where it comes from (the History, Background and Development)
  • What Reiki’s founder taught and how we can follow the original system in the modern world
  • The Reiki ‘precepts’, mindfulness, and the use of empowerments
  • How to benefit from daily energy exercises and self-treatments
  • How to use Reiki on other people

Your Reiki Second Degree training course lasts for 12-13 hours, which is equivalent to two days training. You will spend approximately 6 hours working through your multimedia learning pack, and then attend a single day live course.

Assessment criteria:

You will receive your Reiki Second Degree – OKUDEN certificate at the end of the course.

Further information:

It is recommended that you leave at least three months between your First and Second Degree courses, as this gives you time to absorb, understand, and practise what you have learnt.

 

Reiki Third Degree – SHINPIDEN (Become a Master/Teacher)

Entry requirements:

Reiki Level Two – OKUDEN.

Dates:

  • Two-day training course TBA

Course time:

09:30 – 17:30

Reiki Level Three course fees:

£390.00 per person – This includes all course materials and hot/cold refreshments and light snacks (please bring your own packed lunch).

Venue:

Bedfordshire

Prior to attending the Reiki training day:

The pre-course learning materials consists of a 230-page course manual containing text, colour images, summary sheets, and drawings to illustrate the details, a guide to running Reiki training courses, a book of inspiring Reiki articles, two audio CDs, a 30-minute DVD) and a detailed pre-course study guide. Alternatively, MPs can be sent.

Your pre-course reading and listening will focus you on these areas:

  • The Original system that Mikao Usui taught
  • The role of energy exercises and meditations in the original system
  • Experiencing energies in different ways
  • Using energies on yourself and others
  • The use of Symbols
  • The use of the Reiki Kotodama
  • The power of Intent
  • The potential of Intuition
  • Western ‘attunements’
  • Japanese ’empowerments’
  • Distant connections and self-empowerments

Assessment criteria:

You will receive your Reiki Third Degree – SHINPIDEN certificate at the end of the course.

Further information:

It is recommended that you leave at least six months between your Second Degree and Master Teacher course, as this gives you time to digest and practise what you have learnt.
